Senior HR technology advice.
And the hands to act on it.
I work alongside HR leaders as an independent voice on their technology and their tech stack, guiding the big decisions and helping build what needs to be built.

Halvor Lukerstuen
I've spent eight years delivering SAP SuccessFactors and HR technology projects for large, complex organizations. More than 40 of them, across 11 industries and up to 30 countries, for companies ranging from 600 to 50,000 employees. I've worked as functional consultant, stream lead, solution architect, and project and delivery manager, and as Director for a global consultancy's HR technology practice in Sweden. So I have seen where these projects create real value, and where the risks are.
As account owner for enterprise clients across automotive, financial services, and renewable energy, I have stayed on as a long-term partner, helping their leadership teams steer HR technology year after year rather than project to project.
What I bring that most HR technology consultants do not: I am senior enough to advise on the decision and technical enough to go into the system and configure it myself. I have also run the other side of the table, so I know how this work gets scoped, priced and sold, which is useful when you are the one buying it. And before consulting I co-founded and exited a product company, so I read a business from the P&L up, not just the org chart down.
habelu AB is my independent practice.

I lead the HR Tech Stockholm network of Sveriges HR Förening, Sweden's largest and oldest HR association, founded in 1921 with over 4,000 members. We convene HR leaders around technology, AI, and people analytics.
Visit the networkI work with HR departments in medium to large companies, usually 500 employees and up, helping them create real business value from their HR technology.
Two principles that sit under everything below.
Start from the business, not HR
I start from the business rather than from HR. My philosophy is that, like any other part of a business, HR too needs to focus on how the business makes money. Your HR technology, processes, data, KPIs and operating model all need to work together to contribute to that goal.
Strategic mindset
A list of goals is not a strategy. A strategy names the actual problem, takes a position on it, and commits to actions that follow. It also says what you are not doing, which is the part most HR strategies skip. Not every module or AI idea deserves investment just because it exists.
Health Check
A look at your current stack, what hurts, and what to do about it.
Strategic Roadmap
Where your stack should go next, and in what order.
Process Optimization
Finding the actual bottleneck, not improving everything at once.
Project Management
I run it, and I can see the risks myself.
Integrations
HR master data, and getting it where it needs to go.
SuccessFactors Configuration
Hands in the system, not just advice about it.
Release Management
Staying on top of what SAP changes, on a fixed cycle.
HR Reporting and Analytics
Not only how to analyse your data, but which questions to ask it.
AI and Automation
Applied where it is worth the money, not everywhere.
In their own words.
What really makes him stand out is his pragmatic approach to solving problems and ability to keep everyone focused on the right things at the right time.
He receives feedback very well and really listens to the customers needs. I would definitely recommend hiring Halvor to manage your projects.
Good communication and active steering and follow-up of our deliveries from Halvor's side has made my job easy as Client Project Manager. We have so far had deliveries in time and within the budget and also with a good quality.
Halvor consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership skills, effectively managing cross-functional teams to deliver successful projects on time and within budget.
Let's talk.
If you're running a complex HR program and want a senior perspective rather than a sales pitch, I'd like to hear from you.
If it is easier, pick a slot that suits you.
